Braden Perry tapped as Gerson Lehrman Group expert

Braden Perry has been selected to serve as an expert on councils within the Gerson Lehrman Group – a global research firm that creates networks of leading experts to advise investment institutions as well as companies in various industries.

Perry will serve on GLG’s Legal, Economic & Regulatory Affairs councils as well as the New York-based company’s Financial & Business Services councils. In this role, Perry will join a global network of professionals, and his expertise will provide perspectives on legal, political, economic, regulatory, financial and business issues that drive company valuations and country investment prospects.

Perry was tapped for the role in large part due to his deep understanding and first-hand experience with antitrust, securities, financial institutions, commodities, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FPA) and other emerging compliance and enforcement issues. Prior to forming Kennyhertz Perry, he was a senior vice president and chief compliance officer of a global financial services and Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) member firm, and he also previously served as a senior trial attorney for the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). At Kennyhertz Perry, he consults with clients throughout the United States in areas of internal investigations, enforcement matters, regulatory issues and corporate transactions.

Kennyhertz Perry is a business and litigation law firm dedicated to serving entrepreneurs. The Kansas City area firm was founded by John Kennyhertz and Braden Perry, both of whom have extensive experience in business law, litigation and financial services.
