Kennyhertz Perry, LLC Welcomes Jon R. Dedon

Kennyhertz Perry, LLC is excited to welcome attorney Jon R. Dedon to the firm.  Jon has devoted his career to appellate, real estate, corporate, and transactional law, and has substantial litigation experience in professional liability, employment, and commercial litigation. He has defended numerous products liability, consumer protection, and discrimination lawsuits, and has represented clients ranging from small local businesses to Fortune-100 companies.

Jon spent the first five years of his career at Polsinelli P.C., where he worked in the appellate litigation, insurance, commercial litigation, and professional liability practice groups. He then practiced at Blake & Uhlig, serving as outside general counsel to labor unions and their associated pension and benefit funds, advising them on compliance with various federal laws and regulations, as well as handling their litigation matters.  Prior to his time in private practice, Jon served as a law clerk for the Hon. Duane Benton of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.

Jon earned his B.A. at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law, graduating with honors. During law school, Mr. Dedon served as Associate Editor of the Texas Law Review.

He is admitted to practice in Kansas and Missouri, as well as numerous federal jurisdictions.
