Overview

Danielle advises and represents clients on a wide range of real estate, business and tax transactions.

Danielle leverages her business background to support clients on real estate transactions, including purchase and sale agreements, title review, leases, lending documentation, development contracts, easements, and restrictive covenants. She has extensive experience in representing sponsors and investors in strategic real estate joint venture transactions, understanding private equity dynamics and assisting clients with raising capital.

Danielle also counsels clients on a variety of tax matters with an emphasis on partnerships, acquisitions/divestitures, startups and real estate. She works closely with her client’s accounting professionals to deliver creative and tax-efficient solutions.

Danielle spent her years prior to joining KP representing some of the largest commercial and industrial real estate developers in the Midwest. Danielle is committed to delivering business-minded solutions to clients, with a focus on developing thoughtful and creative results. She takes a hands-on approach to every matter and works closely with clients to understand the industry in which they operate. Danielle understands that knowing a client’s business inside and out translates into anticipating problems before they arise.

Prior to her time in private practice, Danielle worked in-house at H&R Block focusing primarily on individual, real estate, and small business tax issues. Before becoming an attorney, Danielle worked as a legislative assistant at the Oklahoma House of Representatives and taught science at East High School in Kansas City with Teach for America. Outside of KP, Danielle spends her spare time teaching yoga, biking, surfing, golfing and being outside as much as possible.
